La Sella Golf
Enjoy a 27-hole round of golf at La Sella Golf in the Valencian Cummunity in Denia, also close to Javea, designed by José María Olazábal. It’s known internationally for its excellent conditions for playing golf throughout the year. The course lies next to Montgó natural park and is surrounded by Mediterranean woodland and hills. Pine trees, orange trees, olives and almonds add color to the course. La Sella Golf consist of three courses, which can be combined. It is varied and thought provoking, and moderate in length and, if you know how to use all of your clubs, you will be able to get a good result. The designer, with the expert help of José María Olazábal, designed the course in such a way that if you miss the green, you will need all the virtuosity of the Spanish Champion to save the par. Club De Golf Javea
Situated 90 kilometres from Alicante on the way to Valencia, and sheltered from the wind by Cape San Antonio, the course has a perfect microclimate all the year round, and is located in a wonderful natural setting, surrounded by pinewoods. The round is very attractive, with gentle slopes, excellently maintained greens, and wide fairways flanked by pine trees and orange trees. It is a 9-hole round but although it is not very long it is certainly difficult, as it is plagued by bunkers nearly all the way along – 34 in total.
Club de Golf Oliva Nova
Designed and built by Seve Ballesteros, Oliva Nova Golf Club course extends to around 50 hectares into the Valencian Community. Oliva Nova Golf Club is a par 72 course of 6,350 m with a slope of 120. The main characteristic of Oliva Nova Golf course is that 15 of its 18 holes include water obstacles. The only holes that have no water obstacles are numbers 2, 13 and 14. This is a technical course over gently undulating ground. It is easy to walk, and adheres to the traditional formula of four par 3’s, four par 5’s and ten par 4’s.
About Club De Golf Ifach
Ifach golf club was one of the first golf clubs to be established on the Costa Blanca and has been attracting new members and holiday golfers for well over thirty years. Ifach golf club is one of the oldest in Alicante and a pioneer of golf in the Valencian Community, it was designed at the beginning of the 1970s by Mr. Javier Arana, one of the best designers in the world and without a doubt the best at national level. Situated in a valley near the coastal road between Moraira and Calpe, the golf course affords superb views of the Mediterranean Sea and the spectacular Peñon de Ifach. Ifach golf club caters for a variety of golfing and social groups and has always been known for its friendly environment.
